Huge apologies for not posting for… well… AGES! Lots has been going on here, we’ve had a trip to Melbourne, a home invasion (eeek, awful), and a pregnancy (not so awful now the morning sickness has passed). We are over the holiday and the break-in, and just getting into the pregnancy (four months along now). I have managed to do a couple of constructive things amongst all the chaos. Tonight I am excited to be going along to a little crafty group organise by some mum’s from Mister E’s playgroup. Our ‘stitch and bitch’ session will be a good chance for me to complete this little embroidery project I have had so nearly almost finished for the last four months.
I printed a stock image (illustrated by LittleLion on iStock.com) and have traced it onto some cotton. I will frame it for little man’s room when it’s all done. Don’t you love the little tin that I keep the threads in? I bought it full of cute little buttons at the antiques and collectors fair earlier this year.
Hopefully I will be done soon and can post the completed piece.
